This was are family trip to Yuba. Friday night and Saturday were great we sat by the campfire and watched the stars. The kids played in the water until they were soggy. We rode on the tube behind the boat. I think that everyone had a great time. It was so nice to have all the family together and happy. But then the wind started. And then it really started to blow and it coated everything. There was not one thing that didn't have two inches of sand on it. So much for our dutch oven dinner that I had planned. Families had to take shifts eating in the trailer just so that they could taste the meat and not the sand. It cut the weekend short and sent most of the family home. I was sad that we didn't get to have one more day together but I was happy that everyone was able to come down and spend the time together as a family.
